IMO 2020 Compliance Program for Tanker Fleet

With IMO 2020 sulphur regulations approaching, a European tanker operator with 18 product tankers needed a comprehensive compliance strategy. GreenWave Maritime developed an integrated solution combining scrubber installations with our emissions monitoring platform. Eight vessels received Alfa Laval PureSOx hybrid scrubbers, while remaining vessels transitioned to VLSFO. All vessels were equipped with GreenWave continuous emissions monitoring systems for real-time compliance verification and automated regulatory reporting. The hybrid approach allowed operational flexibility while achieving full compliance from day one of the regulations. EU MRV and IMO DCS reporting is now fully automated.
