GreenWave Partners with Scandinavian Ferry Operator for Full Fleet Electrification

GreenWave Maritime Tech is excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership with a major Scandinavian ferry operator to convert their entire fleet of 12 vessels to hybrid-electric propulsion.

Project highlights:

• Total battery capacity: 80 MWh across fleet
• Shore charging infrastructure included
• Expected CO2 reduction: 40,000 tonnes annually
• Completion by 2027

This is the largest ferry electrification project in Europe to date.
